Liquid Fund Proposals

GKAF Trust Limited reviews a limited number of liquid fund proposals from professional investment managers. This page sets out the current mandate and the process for sending factsheet updates.

Current Mandate

September 2026. The mandate for the Trust is to generate returns from a grouping of uncorrelated strategies. The primary drivers are asynchronous drawdowns and risk/return ratios.

The Trust is newly formed and still managing transfers, as such it is still deemed to be an Elective Professional under FCA COBS 3.5.3. It is expected to become a Per Se Professional by Q1 2027 under FCA COBS 3.5.2.


Eligibility Criteria

Managers should review the criteria below before sending material. Proposals that do not meet the stated parameters are unlikely to be considered.

Operational parameters

  1. Minimum investment no greater than GBP 100,000 (or approximate equivalent in another currency).
  2. At least monthly dealing.
  3. No income or distribution funds.

Strategy constraints

  1. No long only.
  2. No illiquid assets such as private equity.
  3. No managed accounts (unless in the process of setting up a fund).
  4. At least 2 years live track record.
  5. Minimum risk/reward ratio of 2:1.

Manager Submission Confidentiality Undertaking

The Trust will not divulge details of any factsheet submitted nor use any information other than for its own purpose of investment research.
